Both homes epitomize luxury living, featuring Harbour designs that blend comfort, style, and durability. Let's take a closer look at these homes and how our pieces enhance their unique settings.
A Perfect Snowmass Retreat in Colorado
Embracing the serene mountain environment, a retreat in Snowmass, Colorado, designed by Kristin Dittmar Doremus offers the ultimate outdoor dining experience.
The expansive deck, set against a backdrop of mountains and large pine trees, is furnished with our Victoria Stone Dining Table and LCA Dining Chairs, creating an inviting space for outdoor dining and relaxation.
The Victoria Dining Table, designed to seat up to ten people, boasts a stunning curved frame in powder-coated extruded aluminum. Available in Asteroid or Taupe, the table includes rounded edges and can be topped with either matching aluminum slats or a contrasting slab of beautiful travertine stone. This versatile design ensures the table complements any outdoor setting.
Accompanying the table are the LCA Dining Chairs, our mixed-material take on the classic director’s chair. These chairs feature a Batyline mesh seat on a solid aluminum frame, offering a sturdy seating option. The solid teak arms provide a contemporary contrast and remain cool to the touch, enhancing the overall dining experience. This subtle nod to the classic director’s chair design is a playful homage to homeowner Daniel MacDonald’s love of Disney.
Dittmar’s design philosophy focuses on sourcing furnishings that complement the home’s natural elements without overpowering them. Cream and gray fabrics, along with light oak elements, create a harmonious and serene outdoor space.
A Breezy Hamptons Vibe in Miami
In contrast to the Colorado home, interior designer Bea Pila transformed a Miami home into a breezy retreat reminiscent of the Hamptons. Central to this transformation is our Breeze XL sofas in a white finish, upholstered in Panama Blanco, perfectly matching the home's bright white exterior.
By aligning the patio perfectly with the pool, a symmetrical and attractive natural vista is created. This setting is ideal for our low-profile Breeze XL 3 Seat Sofa, with its plush cushions and teak arm inlays, which epitomizes modern comfort and elegance while blending seamlessly with the outdoor design.
Pila’s design approach, which she calls Design Enlightenment, starts with a deep dive into her clients' emotional and aesthetic preferences. "I ask them what they love besides just a certain style because I believe style is a different approach," she explains. This method allows her to create spaces that resonate on a deeper level with the homeowners.
