2023 Best Design Collab: Harbour X Kara Mann collection
Thank you to Modern Luxury Chicago Social for naming us to their Best Of Design 2023 list in the February issue. We’re thrilled to be awarded Best Design Collab for our Harbour X Kara Mann collection.
The annual list is a who’s who of the Chicago design scene: “From the best showrooms to the top tastemakers, these 58 people and places are shaping the design scene in Chicago.”
Of course, chief among them is Chicago’s own Kara Mann: “Chicago star designer Kara Mann partnered with Australian lifestyle brand Harbour resulting in a seriously chic outdoor furniture collab.”
Fresh off high-profile collaborations with Goop, Baker/Milling Road and CB2, Mann created a refined and organic collection that pairs a soft Mediterranean aesthetic with contrasting materials to dynamic effect.
Made for lounging and entertaining, this totally unique collection reflects Kara Mann’s vision of relaxation. “Designing a collection that feels truly authentic to my style, and in materials and textures I love, is a thrill,” she says of her process. Each piece hand weaves cord around the frames for a grounded feel. Tables in the collection feature signature cord-wrapped legs topped with either ocean-like Verde Marble or Natural Travertine.
