Marcel Wanders studio is a leading product and interior design studio located in the creative capital of Amsterdam. Marcel Wanders' 30 years of design are celebrated in some of the most renowned art and design museums, including Centre Pompidou FR; Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, US; Metropolitan Museum of Art, US; Museum of Arts and Design, New York, US; Museum of Modern Art, US. Marcel Wanders has made it his mission to "create an environment of love, live with passion and make our most exciting dreams come true."
The MAUI Collection
Seating features a signature radial rope pattern, which illuminates and frames the pieces like a halo. The undulating design creates a sophisticated rhythm and calming effect, with the travertine tables offering a balanced and elemental touch. The space divider completes the look, doubling as a planter box to fully integrate the surrounding nature into the outdoor collection.
Inspired by tropical landscapes, the Maui Collection is celebration of nature and the beauty of organic shapes.
FEATURED MATERIALS
ROPE
Featuring a signature radial rope pattern that creates a sophisticated rhythm, our Maui collection is nomadic luxury. The collections Sofa, Lounge Chair, Day Bed, Sun Lounge and Dining Chair enjoy generous seat cushions with a multi-dimensional rounded back hand woven from all-weather shell rope, all on a sliver of an aluminum plinth base. A casual mix of round and rectangular back pillows completes the aesthetic. Refined and yet Bohemian, these conversation pieces amplify any space.
Travertine
NATURAL STONE
The collections tables are crafted from hand selected slabs of natural travertine. Featuring long oval tops that echoe the collection’s curves, supported by shaped legs with softened edges that intersect to create a bold geometry. The true highlight of these tables is the natural beauty of the stone, with all of its coloration, pitting and texture. Built on an aluminum sub-structure and sealed for additional protection, these pieces are made to endure the elements. Generous in size, these versatile pieces ground any space.
