Sydney has always shaped Harbour’s design language. The city’s harbour light, its culture of outdoor living, and its connection to boating life have influenced the brand from the beginning.
Celebrating and reflecting on these origins, the Sydney Collection pairs coastal design with yacht-inspired high-gloss teak — introducing a new material expression for outdoor living. Released as a limited anniversary edition, the collection marks 50 years of Harbour — a refined expression of our past, reimagined for today.
Born on the edge of Sydney Harbour — where light moves across water and outdoor living is a way of life — the Sydney Collection reflects the foundations of our design philosophy: clean lines, enduring materials, and effortless functionality.
Coastal in spirit yet versatile in application, the Sydney Collection is designed to transition seamlessly between outdoor and indoor spaces.
The collection introduces a new expression of teak. Inspired by the polished finishes of luxury yachts, High Gloss Teak has been developed in Italy using a marine-grade coating system. Through an eight-step, multi-layer application of polyurethane and polyester, the surface achieves a high-polish, mirror-like finish — enhancing both durability and depth while elevating the natural warmth of Grade A Indonesian teak.
Complementing the Batyline mesh base, a collection of premium add-on cushions introduces a refined layer of softness and comfort. Upholstered in four exclusive Italian fabrics — inspired by the tones of Sydney Harbour — these cushions bring warmth and tactility to the design.
Developed in collaboration with Italian textile house Mario Sirtori, the fabrics combine elevated aesthetics with high-performance durability, making them ideal for everyday outdoor use.
Available in four fabric options, the cushion collection includes Sorrento, which features a luxurious linen-inspired hand feel, and Sorrento Stripe, distinguished by its woven stripe detailing that adds subtle contrast and visual depth.
This collection features top-of-the-line Batyline mesh slings — sourced and manufactured in Europe by Serge Ferrari. This incredibly strong PVC-coated material enables airy and supportive reclining and is resistant to stretching and tearing while being easy to clean.

For 50 years, Harbour has crafted with rhythm, shaping pieces that respond to light, endure by the ocean, and belong effortlessly to their environment. The Sydney Collection captures this connection with a collection defined by Sydney, elevated by material, and brought to life in the ever-changing light of the coast.
“2026 feels incredibly special for us at Harbour, because it marks 50 years since our family business began. It started in 1976 with our father, who first learned his craft as a blacksmith at just 14 years old, and carried that dedication with him when he moved to Australia and built a life around creating with his hands. To look at Harbour today, and see how that foundation has grown into a global business, is something we never take for granted. It’s still family-owned and operated, with multiple generations involved, and it means a lot to share this journey together.
With our roots in Sydney and our team now spanning the U.S. and beyond, we’re stepping into 2026 with gratitude, ambition, and excitement, ready for our biggest year yet.”
